It might be hard to stay focused sometimes but fuelling your body with the right nutrients can set you apart from your opponents on and off the field.
With this post I hope to proof that good nutrition does not have to be hard work, expensive and time consuming but can be easy and delicious.
I absolutely love this desert, it is super simple to prepare, takes 5 minutes and most importantly is super delicious!!
What you need:
1/2 avocado frozen
1 banana frozen
1 cup unsweetened and unflavoured almond milk (preferably) (otherwise use rice milk or cow’s milk)
2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
2 dates (pitted)
1/2 tsp vanilla (optional)
2/4 cup ice cubes
All you need to do is put all ingredients into a blender and blend till smooth. If you do not own a Blendtec or Vitamix, let the avocado and banana defrost for 5 minutes and start blending then.
You will end up with a wonderful creamy-icy desert loaded with essential fats and potassium.
