SEASAC Swimming – 4th-5th March 2016

A big GIS welcome to Malaysia and SEASAC Swimming 2016.

This competition is a great opportunity for students to show why they put so many hours of training into their chosen sport, in the hope of PB’s and maybe even setting some of the meet records which get more and more impressive each year.

With competition more fierce this year than ever before, we hope swimmers will look for the satisfaction of being part of such a prestigious event, reaching new peaks in their own swimming performance during the meet.

I look forward to experiencing the atmosphere at one of SEASAC’s cornerstone events and seeing all the swimmers enjoying the success of their own, and their team-mates.

We hope you have a fantastic time in Malaysia!

Good luck to all the swimmers.

It gives me great pleasure to be able to lead the exceptional team that will be hosting the event this year. SEASAC Swimming is one of the most intense and demanding events on the Sports calendar and we are all looking forward to discovering what the 2016 swimmers can produce.

Hosting two days of action packed Swimming followed by the gala dinner on Saturday night promises to be a wonderful challenge for the GIS community and one that will live long in the memory for many years to come. It is impossible to host these large-scale events without the full commitment of a very motivated team. Particular recognition must go to the events and marketing teams and all the amazing parent volunteers that have made this event run so smoothly.

GIS thoroughly enjoys hosting SEASAC events and to be hosting one of the largest events of the special 20th anniversary year is something that we are very proud of. Here’s to loads of new records and lots of new friendships being created.
